In many competitions and in many videos circulating on major social networks, the Marylin Shape nails are often created. As one of the new trends, Marylin Shape nails emerged a few years ago together with the edge and the pipe. But what is Marylin Shapes and how is it made? Here’s everything you need to know!
Marylin Shape nails: characteristics
The Marylin Shape nail can be made in both acrylic and gel and is characterized by a margin worked in order to create a rather narrow arch. For this reason it is not possible to obtain it on natural nails or using the tips, and it must be created with papers. It is very often requested during competitions and nails competitions as it requires a lot of manual skills to be performed in the best way.
It is useless to deny that it is a shape that gives great elegance to the nails and that works best, when combined with a French manicure with muretto technique in white or colored.
Marylin Shape nails: how is it done?
As mentioned above, this new nail shape can be done in both acrylic and uv gel, but only using papers. The paper is inserted under the nail so that the sides are aligned with the edge. Once positioned, it must be tightened, forming the arch that distinguishes the Marylin Shape.
Personally, I fell in love with this nail shape from the first time I saw it in the nail reconstruction course. I find it enchanting, unlike other techniques used professionally in competitions. I think it is absolutely portable even in everyday life.
